Demat stands for dematerialization. KVB – NETC FASTag

NHAI has rolled out program for National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) on Toll Plazas on National Highways to be called FASTag. FASTag works on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. KVB-FASTag is linked to a prepaid account. It is valid for 3 years and can be recharged at the agent location and KVB-branches. It should be used once in 6 months to avoid dormancy.

KVB UPI

Unified Payment Interface (UPI) is a quick and easy way to send and receive money and make payments using Virtual Payment Address (VPA) without entering any additional Bank information.

The Bank has changed the locker rent collection from Anniversary method to Financial Year method i.e. the rent will be collected from the due date of the locker to 31st March.

APY

Atal Pension Yojana (APY) is open to all bank account holders. The central government would also co-contribute 50% of the total contribution or Rs. 1,000/- per annum, whichever is lower, to each eligible subscriber, for a period of 5 years, i.e., from Financial Year 2015-16 to 2019-20, who join the APY before 31st December, 2015. The contribution is to the people are not members of any statutory social security scheme and are not Income Tax payers. Therefore, APY will be focussed on all citizens in the unorganised sector.

PMSBY

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) is aimed at covering the population who are not covered in any insurance plans. This scheme is available at an highly affordable premium of just Rs.12/- per year. The scheme will be available to people in the age group 18 to 70 years with a savings bank account who give their consent to join and enable auto-debit on or before 31st May for the coverage period 1st June to 31st May on an annual renewal basis.

PMJJBY

The Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) is a one year life insurance scheme, renewable from year to year, offering coverage for death due to any reason and is available to people in the age group of 18 to 50 years (life cover upto age 55) having a savings bank account who give their consent to join and enable auto-debit.

NPS

National Pension System (NPS) is a pension cum investment scheme launched by Government of India to provide old age security to Citizens of India. It brings an attractive long term saving avenue to effectively plan your retirement through safe and regulated market-based return. The Scheme is regulated by Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). National Pension System Trust (NPST) established by PFRDA is the registered owner of all assets under NPS.

PMAY

Government of India launched a flagship program Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (urban) - Housing for All on 25th June 2015 to meet the housing shortage among the urban poor. PMAY(U) envisages construction of houses with basic amenities.

SGB

Sovereign Gold Bond scheme is a government sponsored scheme introduced recently by Government of India. As SGBs are government securities, it is safe to invest and have guaranteed returns at the end of the tenor. This Bond is issued by RBI on behalf of the Government of India.
